Our Country Gardens family services Putnam County in New York at our newest location in beautiful, scenic Carmel. This seasonal shop shares access with Dill's Best Building Center.

We are constantly growing in both size and varieties offered of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and herbs. We also carry seeds, bulbs, pottery, and organic deer repellents. This location allows for a large inventory of all our plants. Our knowledgeable and courteous staff is willing to teach the beginner gardener, assist the experienced landscape engineer, and help everyone in between. We are always furthering our education and will be taking part in Master Gardener courses. We have an extensive Christmas shop with live trees, cut trees, and both decorated and undecorated fresh wreaths. We also carry a large variety of holiday needs and specialty ornaments.

Our store is open seven days a week from mid-March thru September and for the Christmas holiday season.

Driving Directions

From Route 84 West take Exit 18. Make a left at the bottom of the exit onto Route 311. Follow 311 over the causeway to the traffic light. Make a left at the traffic light onto Route 52. About 1 1/2 miles up on the right side is COUNTRY GARDENS in the same parking lot as Dill's Best Building Center.
