Mardi Gras Season!

Quite the Mardi Gras celebration!

• a dozen green, purple, and gold balloons floating from the ceiling
• same color lights everywhere
• dollar store glass candle holders stuffed with same color metallic curling ribbon and a brilliant purple candle burning on top
• garden peppers - sweet, hot, &  habernero
• pepper lights too
• beautiful colored beads draped over everyone and everything
• happy/sad masks everywhere
• beer & wine for all who want
• shrimp & garlic slowly cooking ,jambalaya, and spicy beef stew
• most decadent desserts-chocolate covered strawberries, eclairs, cannolis, and a "King Cake"
• the birthday girl found "the good luck baby" baked inside
• Cajun dancing until dawn
• satisfied guests
• enjoying my own home
