The Rainbow  

It was just a week ago--last Tuesday night--my husband, youngest daughter, and I were driving home from yet another exciting food shopping adventure. We're going along, hoping to get back before the incoming storm that's bound to hit just as we're unloading groceries, when we saw it. The hugest and most complete rainbow any of us had ever seen!! It just made your heart and everything stop and go wow! It was the first time I saw that the colors actually reverse back down the spectrum--you know--blue, purple, red, orange, yellow and then back orange red, purple, blue. Is there green in there somewhere? I don't know, but it had to be one of the most beautiful sights I'd ever seen. We were wildly pointing it out to the other motorists - most of them wouldn't look. I think we made them a little nervous. The one woman and child who we saw admiring it were actually turning their car around and hollering to us that they were going to see if they could find the "pot of gold".
